How to use a Serial Scanner in PRM

I just got a call from Rich Danler of Oregon Camera (www.oregoncamera.com) who was having trouble migrating a scanner from one computer to another. It turned out that the scanner was an older SERIAL version of the Metrologic MS 9520 Voyager scanner.
